Billy Ray Cyrus believes that his estranged wife, Firerose, might have had other intentions when she married him.

Sources close to Cyrus revealed to People that the Country singer is separating from Firerose because "she isn't the person he thought he married."

"He believes that she married for other reasons but love," the insider alleged. "He believes she married him so he can take care of her financially. They've had drama and trust issues about money."

Cyrus allegedly wants the Australian singer "out of his life." Thankfully, they have a prenuptial agreement, but "he's disappointed right now, but surely will turn it around quickly."

"He tends to be a very positive guy," the source added.

As of this writing, neither Cyrus nor Firerose have spoken about their separation.

Cyrus accused his estranged wife, Firerose, of charging his credit card a whopping $96,986.05 between May 2024 and June 2024.

On June 14, 2024, TMZ obtained legal documents showing that Firerose had spent the amount across 37 unauthorized charges during the period. Per the report, Firerose used Cyrus' business American Express card, which was revealed that she was never authorized to use or handle.

Cyrus then sought a temporary restraining order against Firerose, preventing her from using credit cards under his name. He even demanded in the filing that Firerose pay him the entire amount.

Meanwhile, Firerose asserted in a counter-filing that she has had access to Cyrus' cards since moving in together in 2022. She also argued that she had abided by the designated credit limits correspondingly. Firerose also argued that she should be able to use their marital money while legally wed to support her established lifestyle.

The songstress also claimed that the law firm mistakenly charged $45,000 of the money that Cyrus wanted back and has since been refunded. The law firm only intended to charge Firerose $5,000 but mistakenly charged the card $50,000.

The filing came days after Cyrus quietly filed the divorce papers on May 22, 2024. Per court documents obtained by People, Cyrus listed "irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct" as the reason for their divorce. Additionally, he also requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
