A new video has brought to light the living situation of Britney Spears' father, Jamie, providing a unique perspective on the empty property that has been his residence since the family's original home was sold in 2021.
In a report by The Sun, it was revealed in May that the 71-year-old patriarch has been residing in a white RVoutside Britney's storage facility in Louisiana for the past six years.
Recently, Jamie sold their property in Kentwood, Louisiana, previously owned by the entire family, to a local resident for approximately $280,000. The new owner then listed the property for a staggering $1.2 million in October.
An overhead perspective of the parcel where Britney is thought to house her memorabilia reveals her estranged father's residence situated mere footsteps from her storage facility.
The video footage shows viewers the expansive grounds surrounding the storage facility. However, in the same ground seems to be gravesite. The Sun confirmed that the area seems to be a pet's burial ground.
According to documents reviewed by the outlet, Jamie recently acquired a parcel of land adjacent to his daughter's storage facility for around $54,000 in December 2020.
Jamie underwent leg amputation the same month. The decision was made in response to a severe bacterial infection that caused him to be hospitalized and put his life at risk.
Jamie acquired the 9.09-acre plot of land adjacent to his daughter's industrial warehouse over the course of several years, with few traces of construction activities documented.
No evidence exists to suggest that Jamie intends to acquire or build a permanent residence despite receiving approximately $5 million from his daughter over the 13-year period of her conservatorship.
In November 2021, Jamie was officially relieved of his duties as the pop icon's conservator. Prior to the court granting the "Baby One More Time" singer's her independence, Jamie sold the property where the family had spent their childhood.

Two months have passed since Britney and Jamie came to an agreement resolving ongoing issues related to the termination of the conservatorship that had governed almost every aspect of her life for over a decade. The settlement effectively averted a potentially lengthy and controversial trial that was anticipated to expose controversial details surrounding attorney fees, financial irregularities, and intense monitoring conducted by Britney's father.
Details regarding the agreement remain confidential, though official records submitted in Los Angeles last April 2024 revealed that Jamie was officially released from his role as Former Conservator of the Estate.
Moreover, Britney is responsible for covering her father's legal fees, which amount to $2 million.
