Justin Timberlake's tour dates could be canceled after his DWI arrest, but a report also claimed he would still like to perform in Chicago soon.

Sources recently told TMZ what Timberlake plans to do after he was pulled over and arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving in the Hamptons on Tuesday, June 28. The Sag Harbor Village police said he was driving a 2025 grey BMW XM on Madison Street when he failed to stop despite a sign before swerving into a lane of oncoming traffic.

The criminal complaint noted he had "a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage" emanating from his breath and bloodshot, glass eyes when the police pulled him over. In addition, his slowed speech and poor performance on a field sobriety test confirmed he "was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition."

According to insiders, Timberlake will still perform in Chicago as scheduled.

On the other hand, separate sources informed The Sun of how desperate he was not to cancel his shows.

"Justin's team will be working to see if they can make sure he can perform in Poland," the insider told The Sun. "At the moment he is due in court on the same day he is starting the European leg of his tour. He is supposed to be playing two nights there. He will not want to let his fans down."

Timberlake is in the middle of The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, his first tour in five years. He marked his latest performance in Miami on Saturday and is due to return to the stage on Friday.

His team also announced new dates for his stops in New York, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., Toronto, Ohio, Chicago and Atlanta days before the incident.

A development in the DWI case has yet to be revealed, but the criminal complaint also quoted Timberlake admitting to having one martini before the arrest. He declined to be tested for impairment.

NBC News legal analyst Danny Cevallos commented on Timberlake's refusal, saying, "A refusal can be introduced at trial to establish conscious evidence of guilt. It is the predicate for a revocation of driving privileges."

Timberlake was ordered to appear virtually in Sag Harbor Village Court on July 26.
