In a statement, Rihanna expressed her excitement also.

"Being the new face of J'Adore is both an honor and a mission. This scent that I have known and loved for so long means so much to women. I am especially looking forward to joining this adventure and contributing to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity," she wrote.

Dior's CEO of Parfums Christian Dior, Véronique Courtois, praised Rihanna's involvement.

"The unusual talent, audacity, and captivating beauty of this absolute star are the ideal embodiment of dazzling, powerful Dior femininity that transcends generations," shared the CEO. "Her golden dream promises to be unique, reflecting a fragrance that is present for women and retains its radiance," she added.

J'adore, which debuted in 1999, has been Dior's top-selling fragrance.

Rihanna's inaugural J'adore campaign, photographed by Steven Klein, will premiere on September 1. Meanwhile, Charlize Theron remains with Dior as their Jewelry and Skin Care Ambassador.

The announcement coincides with news that Rihanna is gearing up for her ninth album after a hiatus since 2016's Anti.

She shared her plans to revisit and potentially rework music she's been developing over the past few years, emphasizing a renewed focus on her musical journey.

Meanwhile, further solidifying her status as a beauty guru and mogul, Rihanna continues to expand her empire with the highly anticipated Fenty Hair collection, the latest addition to her Fenty Beauty lineup. This new range includes nine hair care and styling products, catering to all hair types, textures, and routines.

The Fenty Hair drop features one shampoo, two conditioners, one treatment, four stylers, and one tool. All products are vegan, sulfate-free, and silicone-free.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, since its official launch on June 12, reviews and reactions have been pouring in. Early best-sellers include The Rich One Moisture Repair Shampoo, The Rich One Moisture Repair Conditioner, and The Comeback Kid Instant Damage Repair Treatment, which have garnered significant attention.

She is far from perfect and she's fine with it.

During a conversation with Refinery29 at the Fenty Hair launch party in Los Angeles on June 10, Rihanna discussed her experience with hair loss following the births of her sons Rza, 2, and Riot, 10 months, whom she shares with partner A$AP Rocky.

"I didn't expect it to happen in waves. I thought it would just happen and grow back," said the Grammy winner, 36.

She added that this side effect was unexpected after pregnancy and not mentioned in the pamphlets. "I started losing hair in patches. At that point, you're just like alright, enough is enough."
