Sean "Diddy" Combs allegedly physically abused Cassie Ventura partly due to her rumored relationship with Kid Cudi, according to Combs' former bodyguard. But before that, he tried to lay his hands on his poor personal assistant too, just because he's so frustrated with the situation.

Roger Bonds, who previously headed Combs' security team, discussed the mogul's abusive behavior and misconduct during an interview on VladTV. Bonds claimed that Combs found out about Ventura's romantic involvement with Kid Cudi by going through her phone.

This discovery reportedly enraged Combs, prompting him to try to confront Kid Cudi at his residence.

While Bonds wasn't present for the specifics of that encounter, he remembers that Kid Cudi was not at home when Combs attempted to confront him. Bonds noted that around the same time, Ventura started distancing herself from Combs.

"I don't know exactly what he said. I know that he went over to his house and Kid Cudi wasn't there," Bonds explained.

"At that particular time, after that happened, Cassie wouldn't come around and then, all of the sudden, Cassie came around and Diddy was upset," Bonds added.

Bonds disclosed that Combs then directed his anger towards an employee named Capricorn, whom he believed had information about Ventura's relationship with Kid Cudi, resorting to physical assault. Capricorn is his personal assistant.

"He was upset with a young lady called Capricorn," Bonds recounted.

"Capricorn was his personal assistant. She had to know about Kid Cudi because she never went to the studio by herself. She always went with Cassie," he explained.

"He put hands on Capricorn because of that situation. Capricorn ended up leaving and suing him for it. He paid Capricorn $450,000 to keep her mouth shut," he added.

In 2023, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing the renowned music executive of physical and emotional abuse, among other allegations.

The case was resolved through an out-of-court settlement.

In May 2024, CNN released footage from 2016 showing Diddy assaulting Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel. Following the release of the footage, Combs issued a public apology for his actions.

Diddy is currently facing multiple civil lawsuits but has not been charged criminally. The Los Angeles District Attorney stated that they could not pursue charges based on the CNN footage because the alleged incident occurred outside the legal timeframe for assault prosecution.
