Taylor Swift fans are gearing up to create a "special moment" at her upcoming UK tour dates to show their love and support for the singer-songwriter. The agenda is to make her forget some bad London memories care of her past boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.

The 34-year-old artist is scheduled to perform eight shows at Wembley Stadium in London as part of her Eras Tour. She will take the stage for three consecutive nights later this week and return for five more concerts in August.

Ahead of these performances, fans are planning a collective gesture from the audience to express their admiration, according to Mirror UK. Reports suggest that Taylor has had "unhappy memories" associated with London, and fans aim to replace these with positive experiences by showing her the love and support she deserves.

It's known that Taylor previously resided in London with her former partner Joe Alwyn, 33, who is a native of the city. The couple dated for six years before their split last year.

In her song "So Long, London," featured on her album The Tortured Poets Department, Swift is believed to bid farewell not only to the city but also to the relationship with Alwyn.

Following its April release, some fans have suggested a special gesture for concert attendees in London during performances of "Love Story." Fans are encouraged to hold up paper signs reading "We'll love you for so long, London," referencing the song.

Additionally, it's proposed that attendees in different sections of the stadium hold up paper in the respective colors of the Union Jack flag and illuminate them with their phone lights. Alternatively, they can set their lock screens to their designated color.

On his part, Joe Alwyn already spoke up about the split after a long silence.

In an interview with The Sunday Times Style, Alwyn opened up about their breakup when asked about Swift's latest album The Tortured Poets Department, which fans speculate references their relationship and its end.

While their relationship is now tainted with some negative narrative, Alwyn is adamant that the six years they spent together were "loving" and "fully committed." It's ending was harrowing.

"In thinking on what I was going to say, I would think and hope that anyone and everyone can [empathize] ...This isn't a direct answer to your question, but just thinking about what I want to talk about ... " Alwyn shared.

"I would hope that anyone and everyone can [empathize] and understand the difficulties that come with the end of a long, loving, fully committed relationship of over six and a half years. That is a hard thing to navigate. What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it's suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in," he explained.
