Chappell Roan is one of the most prominent artists today, as she amassed millions of listeners in months. More recently, Saturday Night Live star Bowen Yang teased fans that the musician could soon appear on the late-night comedy show as a musical guest.

Taking to his Las Culturistas podcast with co-host Matt Rogers, the comedian recalled that he went to the singer's concert but clarified that he didn't want to attend to ask how to book her for a potential appearance on the show.

He then brought a few people from the team to let them see and experience her concert, and during her performance of the song "Casual," a person from the talent team told Yang that Roan was "special."

As of this writing, it's unclear if Chappell Roan will appear in a future episode of SNL.

The recent news comes after the "Good Luck, Babe!" hitmaker took the stage of the Red Hat Amphitheater in North Carolina, where she played her unreleased song "The Subway."

During her set, she suddenly became emotional as she told her fans that she felt off that day.

"I guess I just want to be honest with the crowd. I just feel a little off today 'cause I think that my career is going really fast and it's really hard to keep up," she said.

She added that she had difficulty performing and apologized to her fans, clarifying that she wasn't trying to give them a "lesser show."

"It's just, there's a lot... Thank you for understanding. This is all I've ever wanted. It's just heavy sometimes, I think," she added.

Chappel Roan's life changed in a matter of months because last summer, she was just a cabin counselor for a summer camp; today, she is one of the most in-demand musicians to perform at festivals across the United States.

"I teach at a summer camp, I'm a cabin counsellor because I love it and this job sweeps you away with the tide. It's so easy to feel that this is your whole world and there's nothing going on outside, but working at a summer camp where I just help with the dishes. It's just so grounded," she said in a 2023 interview with the Line of Best Fit.

There was even a point at the Bonnaroo Music Festival when organizers had to transfer her to the main stage, which was a bigger one, because of her massive fanbase.
