Travis Scott was arrested Thursday morning, June 20, 2024, in Miami, Florida, for disorderly intoxication.
When being questioned by the arresting officer, the "Sicko Mode" rapper attempted to justify his actions.
"It's Miami," he savagely responded.
Scott's reaction came after he was being interrogated if he had been drinking the night prior, the affidavit revealed, as obtained by The Daily Mail.
Unlike Justin Timberlake, it looks like the arrest wouldn't affect his tour. The rapper assured his fans on X, formerly Twitter, that the Circus Maximus tour will proceed as planned on Friday, June 28, 2024, in Arnhem, Netherlands.
The report shows ten Miami Beach police officers were called after 1 a.m. to the marina after they had been alerted of reports of "fighting" by a yacht owner. According to the owner, he wanted to get Scott off the boat.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers found Scott "disturbing the peace," openly "yelling," and "behaving erratically."
Police officers described Scott emanating a "strong smell of alcohol" on his breath and continued "yelling obscenities" at people on the boat.
But, Scott was still uncooperative, refusing to comply with the police, and then he was eventually taken into custody for two misdemeanors - disorderly intoxication and trespassing.
However, Scott wasn't booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center until 4:35 a.m. on Thursday morning. After having his mugshot taken, he posted $650 bail and was eventually released.
Despite the reported fight, a source told the outlet that "there was no physical altercation" that took place.
"This was a rowdy party, and Travis was already bailed out for a few hundred dollars. He is already home," the insider shared. "There will be no further action to be taken, as it was a minor incident akin to receiving a ticket with no injuries."
Surprisingly, this was not the first physical melee Scott had been involved in in the past two months. In May 2024, he was roped in a brawl with Tyga at a Cannes Film Festival Afterparty.
While at Richie Akiva's event, TMZ reported that the two rappers got into a physical altercation with Cher's boyfriend, Alexander "AE" Edwards, and 808 Mafia producer Southside.
Scott, whose ex-girlfriend was Kylie Jenner, was seemingly distraught that he was in the same group as Tyga, Jenner's ex. After some misunderstanding, chaos ensued, adding Edwards and Southside to the brawl.
