Ben Affleck made a rare comment about living in the shadows of his wife, Jennifer Lopez, amid divorce rumors.
The Justice League actor appeared in the first episode of Kevin Hart's interview show on Peacock, Hart to Heart, where he candidly spoke about his life with Lopez. He also touched on the topic of his children - Violet, Seraphina and Samuel - with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and how they are not afraid to call him out.
"My daughter is always throwing out titles to her autobiography," Affleck explained. "We went somewhere with [Lopez] - I can't remember because she's so famous, and she creates this - people love her, and she really represents something important to people. [To me,] people are like, 'Hey, I like your movie,' and then they're like 'AAAHHHH! J-LO!' It's amazing, you know what I mean?"
Affleck looked back at the time they strolled Times Square together where they encountered the "On the Floor" singer's fans.
He detailed, "We get out of the car, we were going to a play, and I was like, 'F--- it, babe, we're going to be late, we gotta walk a block and a half.' [Lopez] was like, 'Alright,' she didn't say s---. We get out with her, all the kids, through Times Square, and the s--- was like f------' bananas. I was like, 'Oh my God.' There was a lady, she was smoking weed, in a full purple skintight suit - she's a heavy lady - and she starts running backwards filming, going 'J-LO!!' Like a herald, that then gets everyone else, and then all the tourists come in."
After revealing the story, the 51-year-old Hypnotic star seemingly hinted at the chaotic life he has while in Lopez's presence.
The episode was released after sources told Globe Magazine how furious the "Let's Get Loud" hitmaker has been as Matt Damon, Jennifer Garner and her mother-in-law, Christine Anne Boldt, have continuously supported Affleck amid their marital woes.
One of the sources noted that Lopez has a tense relationship with Boldt, who is extremely close to her son's ex-wife. The mother-in-law reportedly thought Affleck made the biggest mistake when he let Garner go.
"J.Lo can't help but think Christine is poisoning his head against her and thinks it's pathetic that Ben's run back to his mommy," the insider continued.
