In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian revealed that her child with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Rocky, experienced a "terrifying" lung issue when she was still pregnant with him.
"We had a terrifying scare," Kardashian explained in the show, Billboard reported. "It's super rare - the condition that he had - but it's also super rare and lucky that we caught it. Thank you, God, for a successful surgery. I'm honestly just so grateful, I have no words."
According to Kardashian, she revealed that the procedure was made to drain the fluid on Rocky's lungs.
Back in October 2023, Kardashian was rushed into an emergency fetal surgery, with Barker flying back home from a Blink-182 tour to be with his wife's side.
"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this," Kardashian said in an Instagram post shortly after the surgery.
Kardashian, who has had "three really easy pregnancies in the past," revealed that she wasn't prepared for "urgent fetal surgery."
"I don't think anyone who hasn't been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear," she said at the time.

The media personality also expressed her shock upon discovering the reality of pregnant mothers out there after she found out that medical insurance only covers two ultrasounds.
"That experience opened my eyes to a whole new world of pregnancy that I didn't know about in the past. It was terrifying," Kardashian told Vogue about her realization.
Speaking to the publication, Kardashian confessed that she has been "lucky enough" to do more than what her medical insurance has covered. Turns out - "it's one of those ultrasounds that saved my baby's life."
Kourtney also remembered being "really pressured and pushed into doing IVF" when she was having difficulty in conceiving naturally.
"It went against my intuition, and I didn't feel fully prepared for the mental or physical toll is takes," she recalled, before heading toward the joyful part. "We just got pregnant naturally. It was an indescribable feeling. Shock, then super-happy, fear sets in, worry, but I remembered then to have gratitude."
