Fans have been waiting for Willie Nelson to take the big stage again. He was supposed to play at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, GA, along with some legendary musicians in the music industry. However, many were surprised as it was announced that he wouldn't be joining them due to his health condition.

A statement on his official Instagram account reads, "We regret to inform you that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and, per doctor's orders, has been advised to rest for the next four days."

The post clarified that the singer is expected to make a full recovery and will be present at his upcoming appearance at the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.

"In the mean time, Lukas Nelson and the Family Band, along with a few guests, will perform a special set to include Willie's classics and other songs," the letter continues.

Although Nelson won't be around in the next few days, other performers on his tour, like Bob Dylan, Rober Plant & Alison Krauss, and Celisse, will still be present to entertain fans.

Fans immediately took to the comment section to share their well-wishes to the musician, with one writing, "the way my heart dropped. get well soon, Willie."

"Almost had a heart attack!! Thank god Willie is okay. Praying for his recovery soon," another one wrote, while another added, "Prayers Willie hard to keep a good man down."

Aside from the musicians mentioned above, other musical acts to appear on the duration of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour are John Mellencamp, Billie Strings, Brittney Spencer, Celisse, and Southern Avenue.
