Jessica Biel was spotted without her wedding ring and wearing a brave smile while continuing to film The Better Sister in NYC on Tuesday, despite her husband Justin Timberlake's recent DWI arrest. Is this a sign that their marriage is truly in trouble?
The 42-year-old actress was seen on set, flashing a ring-free hand and wearing a mint green vest paired with tan chinos and sandals.
Her sleek bob and chic shades made her look cheerful while goofing around.
This upbeat appearance comes just hours before Timberlake, 43, is scheduled to perform at Madison Square Garden for his Future Tomorrow tour amidst a turbulent period.
According to court documents, Timberlake was arrested on June 18 around 12:30 a.m. when a Sag Harbor Village Police officer stopped him for allegedly running a stop sign and swerving out of his lane in a 2025 BMW X7.
According to the documents, Timberlake exhibited bloodshot and glassy eyes, a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, impaired attention, slowed speech, unsteadiness on his feet, and performed poorly on sobriety tests. He reportedly told the officer he had consumed one martini and was following friends home. After being arrested and taken to a nearby police station, he refused a breath test.
Timberlake, listed in the documents as "professional" and "self-employed," was released without bond after his arraignment in Sag Harbor.
According to the Suffolk County district attorney's office, he faces a misdemeanor DWI charge and has his next court appearance scheduled for July 26.
Previously, it was already reported that this DWI arrest could be the last straw for Biel, who the world knows has dealt with enough controversies throughout her marriage to Timberlake.
According to sources from Us Weekly, Jessica Biel, 42, is reportedly "extremely upset" following her husband's DWI arrest on Tuesday.
"She was shocked to hear the news and had no idea as she was working," an insider said about Biel, who has been filming her upcoming Prime Video thriller series "The Better Sister" in Manhattan amid Timberlake's legal troubles.
While it was reported that he was wasted at the time of his arrest, an insider from the US said he was lying to Biel ever since, claiming he's barely drinking.
"She always gives Justin the benefit of the doubt," the insider added regarding Biel.
Following Timberlake's traffic stop, he reportedly declined to undergo a blood alcohol test on three occasions and did not pass a field sobriety test.
He also allegedly informed arresting officers that he had consumed only "one martini."
Despite being upset, Biel was also worried, showing that she's a concerned partner.
