Blogger and The View host Meghan McCain has something to say to Taylor Swift after she has been continuously called out on social media for allegedly blocking other artists on the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 chart.
Speaking to her podcast, Citizen McCain, the outspoken personality likened Swift to the levels of Elvis Presley.
"You are Taylor Swift, you are Elvis-level, one of the greatest of all time," McCain pointed out. "There are people coming up who could have their first No. 1 and you have the power to let them have No. 1 or not. ... I just don't know how classy it is."
Reflecting on Swift's recent actions, she said: "I also think that, karmically, you're messing with some stuff. I get that The Tortured Poets Department is doing this well ... but I do think maybe more focus on music and art instead of, like, checks on a scoreboard."
While she considers herself "not not a fan," but also "not a Swiftie," McCain echoed a growing sentiment online that the public is getting tired of Swift.
"She has, respectfully, nowhere else to go but down at this point," McCain added. "She has TIME magazine's person of the year, this tour's so big ... I do think when she's done touring, giving us a mild break from being in the news cycle as much as she is would be helpful for her, and us as commentators."

McCain's frustrations came after Swift released various variants of The Tortured Poets Department. It effectively blocked Billie Eilish's new album Hit Me Hard and Soft from debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart, further intensifying the rumors of an alleged feud between Swift and Eilish.
Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, Swift dropped three new variants of the same album exclusively in the country, further blocking Charli XCX's Brat from scoring a No. 1 debut.
Billboard reported that Swift has achieved a milestone of nine consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart with The Tortured Poets Department, earning 126,000 equivalent album units this week.
Meanwhile, the Official Charts reported that The Tortured Poets Department scored a seventh nonconsecutive week at the top of the charts in the United Kingdom. It is currently her longest-running chart-topper in the United Kingdom, besting Midnights, which only spent five weeks there.
