Alabama Barker, Travis Barker's daughter, appeared to subtly criticize her mother, Shanna Moakler, following the reality TV star's negative comments about her ex-husband in a recent interview.
It all began when the former Celebrity Big Brother star spoke with People magazine in an interview, saying that her exes, Travis Barker and Oscar De La Hoya, are "very similar."
"They were both propelled to fame, and I was with them both at the height of their careers. They both were very poor. They both yearn for power, money and fame, and they are similar in that way," she said, adding that she no longer looks to date men like them.
She further expressed her distaste for her exes, noting that she no longer cares about them. What she wanted for herself was to heal from the loss of her family and support system and find her next move in life.
"I'm an empty nester and turning 50, and I'm just trying to find my place in the world again without my parents or a partner," she added.
Shanna Moakler is a mother to Travis Barker's children, Landon, Alabama Barker, and Atiana De La Hoya.
More recently, Alabama took to social media to throw a subtle shade at her mom. She took to her Instagram story and posted a photo of the Blink-182 drummer, her stepmom, Kourtney Kardashian, and her stepbrother Rocky.

In the same interview, Shanna addressed the rumors that she's a "deadbeat mom" as people always ask her why her children are always with Travis.
She clarified that she's never not been involved with her kids' lives, and she has always shared custody.
Shanna Moakler addressed the misconception that she's an absentee mother, explaining that her children are now adults, aged 18, 20, and 25. As they've grown, she's transitioned into an 'empty nester,' allowing them to live their own lives.
