The mother of one of Jeffrey Dahmer's victims criticized Ariana Grande over her Jeffrey Dahmer comment.

Speaking with TMZ, Shirley Hughes - the mother of the late aspiring model and Jeffrey's victim Tony Hughes - slammed Ariana following the singer's shocking confession about her "obsession" with the serial killer and her desire to have dinner with him.

"To me, it seems like she's sick in her mind," Shirley said of the "thank u, next" singer. "It's not fancy or funny to say you would have wanted to do dinner with him. It's also not something you should say to young people, which she says she did."

The matriarch expressed her disappointment over Ariana's behavior, as well, when she shared the story during her appearance on "Popcrushed." Shirley noted that the "7 rings" songstress was even laughing while speaking about Jeffrey, who killed 17 men between 1978 and 1991.

Tony's sister, Barbara Hughes-Holt, said Ariana should apologize so her fans could understand how she had affected and hurt the families of Jeffrey's victims when she shared her infatuation with serial killers.

Barbara continued, "Unfortunately, until it happens to her and her family, she just doesn't know what we have been through."

Their family member, Tony, was killed by Jeffrey after their meeting at a gay bar in 1991. The victim was reportedly deaf and unable to speak.

Grande revealed in the show that a fan asked her during a Q&A who she would like to have dinner with, and she reportedly answered "Jeffrey Dahmer." She explained she would love to meet the murderer because she "had many questions."

Several Reddit threads showed users siding with the victims' families and slamming Ariana for her comment.

One said, "Good for the family for speaking out. People are so out of touch that they seem to forget with 'popular' killers that there are very real families and victims out there who are affected by the glamorization of them."

"Good because what the actual f--- is wrong with her," a second wrote, while a third shared, "she is sick. imagine a fascination with the Manchester bomber and having the desire to have dinner with him. this girl doesn't connect the dots despite the trauma she's endured herself. it's sad."
