Ben Affleck allegedly completed the process of relocating his possessions from the shared home he once occupied with Jennifer Lopez, all before his wife returns from Europe.
According to People magazine, a source has confirmed this eyebrow-raising turn of events, possibly signifying that all the divorce buzz in the last months are indeed true.
Over a month has passed since People magazine initially disclosed that Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, were residing separately in Los Angeles, navigating challenges within their marriage.
A source close to the couple has now confirmed to People magazine that the Academy Award-winning filmmaker has completed the move of all his belongings from their Beverly Hills estate, doing so before Lopez returned from a recent trip to Europe.
"Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He's been there for about two months now," another source says. "He seems okay. He's been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He's also spending time with his kids."
If this is the case, it is possible that he followed through the advice of his friend Matt Damon. Reports have it that Affleck had been relying on Damon for emotional support amid all these.

In turn, Daily Mail reported that Matt has been encouraging Ben to "focus on his work" amid tension in the relationship. The source said, "Matt tried to warn Ben when he got back together with J.Lo that this could happen. Matt was there to help Ben get it together after their first split and he felt like this would happen again."
Interestingly, the couple seemed to have been together as recently as June 26, when they were separately photographed entering a building in West Hollywood, where they each have offices, albeit several hours apart.
According to TMZ, Affleck arrived at approximately 10 a.m., dressed in a suit and carrying a duffel bag. Lopez, who is slated to appear in two forthcoming films produced by Affleck and Matt Damon's production company, was seen leaving the building several hours later.
The negative buzz surrounding Lopez and Affleck's marriage has heightened recently, particularly after they were not seen together for over a month earlier this year.
Despite ongoing rumors about their marital status, both Lopez and Affleck appear committed to their careers and family life. They recently celebrated school graduations for Affleck's children, and on June 16, Lopez shared a heartfelt Father's Day tribute to Affleck on her Instagram Stories.
Fueling further speculation, Affleck was photographed in Los Angeles on June 23 without his wedding ring, coinciding with Lopez enjoying a vacation in Italy.
