Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, have been entangled in alleged issues surrounding their marriage. More recently, in a big turn of events, sources say the musician is set to move back to New York City and could potentially reunite with her ex, Alex Rodriguez.
According to a source who spoke with InTouch Weekly, she had been planning to move to the Big Apple full-time even before the couple started having marital issues.
"Now she's decided to go ahead with that after the split," the insider added.
Although she will opt to move back to the city where she came from, the source said she would likely keep a place in Los Angeles. She needed to get away from "all the noise and the scrutiny on the West Coast."
Regarding her children Max and Emme - whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony - the insider noted that nothing stops her from taking her kids and starting a new beginning in New York City.
"They've got plenty of schools back east, and she's got a great social circle there," the source added.
Alex Rodriguez may have been romantically linked to Jaclyn Cordeiro for nearly two years; the source revealed that the "Let's Get Loud" songstress is starting to "miss what she had with him."

"J. Lo doesn't intend to stay single long, and she and A-Rod do have unfinished business," the insider continued.
The ex-couple started dating in 2017 and even got engaged. However, after four years of dating, they called off their wedding plans in 2021.
In a joint statement to People magazine, the couple said they realized it would be better for them to be friends.
"We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support," they said.
Regarding Lopez's romance with Ben Affleck, there have been circulating reports that the two are currently going through a hard time with their marriage. There was even a point when the actor was spotted without his wedding ring while the musician spent her time in Italy.
As of this writing, the "Jenny From the Block" hitmaker has yet to address the issues publicly.
