Grubman, Shire, Meiselas & Sacks, a powerful law firm based in Manhattan known for representing top players in the music industry, recently decided to part ways with rebellious rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs.

"The decision to part ways with Mr. Combs was proactively made by the partners in the firm a number of months ago as they felt it was the right thing to do," a rep for the firm told Page Six.

A recent update revealed that the firm decided to sever ties with Combs due to the significant impact of Lady Gaga, whose presence was deemed indispensable.

According to a source who spoke with NewsNation, A Star Is Born actress made it clear she would part ways with the company unless they severed ties with Combs.

The New York City law firm faced a dilemma when they decided to part ways with the disgraced music mogul, a longstanding client of over twenty years. The firm was apprehensive about the potential impact of losing such a prominent client on its reputation within the legal industry

However, according to a source, that conversation between Lady Gaga and the firm "never happened," as revealed to Page Six.

Additionally, a rep for the firm also revealed, "The report that the decision was the result of client pressure just isn't true."

Page Six was informed by the source that GSM&S decided to part ways with the rapper following the accusations of assault.

Throughout two decades, Diddy remained a major client of the law firm.

Combs built a close friendship with attorney Allen Grubman and the lawyer often frequented his home in the Hamptons before his downfall.

But a major concern for the firm was the potential domino effect that Lady Gaga's departure could trigger, leading to a mass exodus of other prominent artists.

In the wake of multiple shocking allegations against Combs, who is currently entangled in more than five legal cases ranging from sexual assault to trafficking, several top music industry figures like The Weeknd, Usher, Drake, Kevin Hart, and more have decided to cut all connections with him.

Recent updates reveal that Combs' lawyers let him go approximately two months ago because of the seriousness and abundance of these accusations.
