Word spreads around Glastonbury about a potential surprise guest appearance set for Sunday evening-Taylor Swift.

Attendees at the festival are abuzz with anticipation, suggesting that Swift might join The National on The Other Stage for their headline performance. The speculation stems from the collaboration between The National and Swift on the song "The Alcott," included in their album, First Two Pages of Frankenstein.

However, with Swift and The National currently embarking on separate tours, these rumors may not hold. While excitement is reaching a fever pitch, fans are in for a letdown as it is confirmed that Swift will not make a surprise appearance, according to The Mirror.

Amid anticipation for Glastonbury's future lineups, Swift had been set to lead the festival in 2020 before the global health crisis intervened. With the event's fate uncertain, speculation now centers around Swift returning to the stage as a top contender in 2025.

Dazzling audiences with her 152-city The Eras Tour shows, the 14-time Grammy winner has set a new standard for concert success.

During a recent performance at Aviva Stadium, Swift delighted a packed audience, as reported by the Irish Examiner, who noted that fans had journeyed from all corners of Ireland to attend the show.

Stepping onto the platform, the "Guilty As Sin" singer told the crowd that the energy of Irish fans was unparalleled.

"I just having this feeling of 'we're back.' I haven't gotten to play a song in Dublin in, I think it's been five years. Nobody does this like you."

Incorporating a new element of surprise, the acclaimed artist showcased her archery skills during live performances at Wembley Stadium, specifically during the song "So High School" from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The audience also applauded as Swift's partner, Travis Kelce, made a grand entrance onto the stage during the Eras Tour London show. Dressed in a dapper tuxedo with a top hat and tails, he accompanied her from "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" to "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart."

Swift's schedule includes two fully booked performances in Dublin and a return to London in mid-August as part of her European tour. After her time in Europe, the "Lover" singer will return to North America, where she will conclude her extensive tour in Vancouver, BC, on December 8.
