During a performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, rapper Rick Ross faced backlash from Drake supporters and it ended in a brawl.

The incident occurred when Ross concluded his set by playing Kendrick Lamar's diss track, "Not Like Us," aimed at the Canadian rapper, causing a stir among the audience.

As the music continued filling the room, Ross stepped down from the stage only to be met by a group of people who were less than thrilled with his final song choice.

In a video capturing the altercation, a man can be seen punching Ross in the face following a brief exchange, leading to a chaotic brawl. Lamar leveled grave allegations on his song "Not Like Us," debuting right after his album "Meet The Grahams" hit the airwaves.

In the song, Lamar calls out Drake for allegedly showing interest in significantly younger women, along with a fellow entourage member.

The song "Not Like Us" debuted on YouTube and featured visuals that seemed to depict Drake's residence, adorned with red symbols commonly associated with sex offenders.

Through his verses, the award-winning songwriter aimed at the successful artist and his associates from the OVO team.

Although Ross and Drake were previously close, Ross has now shown his allegiance to Lamar amid the ongoing feud within the hip-hop community.

Meanwhile, Drake reportedly reacted subtly by "liking" a clip from the brawl on social media upon viewing the video of Ross being ambushed by a group, according to GeoTV. While his direct role remains uncertain, his favoring the clip depicting the altercation hints at possible endorsement of the incident.

In an interview TMZ, Ross expressed his admiration for Vancouver and eagerly anticipated his return, despite the incident from the previous evening.

He reassured that none of his team members sustained any major injuries during the altercation.
