Dua Lipa's headline performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury has garnered glowing reviews, but it was her reaction to another performer at Glasto that catapulted her to viral fame - albeit quite negative.
During a leisurely stroll around the festival grounds, the "Houdini" singer was approached by @liamcmusic_, a busker known for his ukulele performances featured in social media videos.
A video shared by Liam captures the moment when he enthusiastically played "30 seconds of my new song" to a slightly uncomfortable-looking Dua. Fans who were able to watch the video actually felt embarrassed for Liam, if not sorry.
"I saw your Camden documentary and I thought it was amazing. Right now I am busking around Camden and I wanted to play you 30 seconds of my song and if you like it, I just want to get your reaction and that's it," the busker told her.
At the 30-second mark, Dua politely told Liam, "I love it mate, so good, so good," as she walked away while he continued to sing.
Her unimpressed reaction went viral, with one person tweeting: "That video of the lad singing to Dua Lipa at Glastonbury has given me third-degree cringe."
Another shared a screenshot of Dua's unimpressed face, joking: "Every woman on earth can identify with Dua Lipa waiting for the guy to stop playing guitar."
"Dua hun, blink twice if you need help," one hilariously commented.
Others defended Liam, with one person musing: "Idk man, if playing a sh***y song and looking like an idiot gets you a hug from Dua Lipa then I'm going to buy a ukulele."
Liam proudly shared the video capturing his impromptu performance for Dua Lipa before opening up in a later Instagram post about the unconventional way he found himself at the festival. Reflecting on the experience, he candidly admitted to "blagging" his way into Glastonbury, seizing the opportunity to showcase his music amidst the festival's vibrant atmosphere.
Despite the initial challenges and the unexpected turn of events, Liam expressed gratitude for the chance to perform and connect with both fans and fellow musicians at such a renowned event. His post resonated with followers who admired his determination and applauded his bold approach.
Sharing footage of himself being escorted off-site, he explained: "@glastofest was crazy, I blagged it in to promote myself."

After her electrifying performance at Glastonbury on Friday, the 29-year-old singer is still riding high. Dua Lipa recently shared exciting news with fans, unveiling plans for her upcoming stadium tour in a playful advertisement for Priority from O2, offering fans the chance to secure tickets 48 hours before they go on general release.
The announcement follows reports from a source quoted in The Sun, who revealed, "[Dua's] last tour was as good as sold out, but it was an arena tour, to make the jump to stadiums is amazing, especially when she's only on her third album."
The source went on to emphasize the significance of this milestone for the pop star, noting that it represents the culmination of years of hard work since she moved to London from Kosovo at just 15 years old.
