Bebe Rexha had fans worrying about her after she went on a scathing online rant on X, formerly Twitter.
In one of her tweets, Bebe threatened that she "could bring down a HUGE chunk of this industry."
"I AM frustrated. I Have been UNDERMINED. I've been so quiet for the longest time. I haven't seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken up I've been silence and PUNISHED by this industry Things must change or I'm telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly," Bebe lashed out.
When one of her fans asked her "what happened again," Bebe told the fan that they "haven't even heard 5 percent. You have NO IDEA."
Another pointed out the credit issue when she released "Hey Mama" in 2015. According to the singer, "Compared to all the other stuff" people know about, the debacle was only "child's play."
A user asked Bebe what was stopping her from doing so, and she said that she would be punished for doing so.
"This is not just coming from a place of anger. It's sadness. I'm sitting in my hotel room in London Crying my eyes out. I've felt hopeless for the longest time. I've been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me," Bebe said in another tweet.
When one person accused her of making drama to promote her newest single, "I'm The Drama," Bebe refuted the claim, saying that she doesn't even have any budget for marketing her own single, signaling that she's "fed up."
Eventually, Bebe assured her fans they all had given her "strength."
As of this writing, it is still unclear what prompted Bebe to go on a fiery rant online. However, this was not the first time Bebe had expressed frustration with the music industry, which she described to The Los Angeles Times as the "most toxic industry there is."
"As a woman in this industry, I was taught this competitiveness, and when I wrote the song I was going through that - comparing myself to everybody, which is so unhealthy," she told the publication.
