It's been years since the Spice Girls gathered for a massive concert, and many fans want them to reunite soon. More recently, member Mel C, popularly known for her moniker Sporty Spice, teased the possibility of them performing at Glastonbury next year.

"Glastonbury-goers are desperately hoping the Spice Girls will say they'll be there next year... Their appearance would surely see one of the festival's biggest ever crowds on the Pyramid Stage," Jessica O'Reilly of Ladbrokes predicted.

More recently, Mel C spoke to Chris Moyles on Radio X to share her thoughts about the potential reunion, saying, "there's nothing I would like more."

However, she noted that her bandmates are still "making their minds up," but the singer said she would continue practicing regardless.

"Shall we start the rumour already?... It doesn't get rumoured every year! It's something you never hear! Let's all manifest!" she added.

As of this writing, festival organizers have yet to confirm whether the Spice Girls will perform at Glastonbury next year.

The recent news comes after all members reunited earlier this year when Victoria Beckham, also known as Posh Spice, celebrated her 50th birthday.

In a video shared by her husband, David Beckham, the five members could be seen vibing to their hit 1997 song "Stop."

In other updates about the Glastonbury Music Festival, Emily Eavis, the daughter of the event founder Michael Eavis, confirmed to the Sun that they're already in talks with some of the potential acts that could perform next year.

"We're already in talks with some acts for it. It's exciting!" she said.

However, she also confirmed that the annual event would be canceled in 2026 because of the "fallow year."

"(It will) give the land a rest. The festival before a fallow year is always a fun one to plan, because you almost have to fit two years into one," she added.

Regardless, she was thankful for everyone who made this year's event possible, adding, "I really would like to say thank you to everyone who's made this year so special... It's got to be the best one yet. Every single one of our vast, incredible crew is crucial to making this event work."

This year, the Glastonbury crowd witnessed some of the biggest musical acts, including Coldplay, SZA, Dua Lipa, Shania Twain, Seventeen, Cyndi Lauper, PJ Harvey, Janelle Monàe, and many more.
