Jennifer Garner reportedly offered a room for Ben Affleck after he moved out of the home he shares with Jennifer Lopez.
In May, reports confirmed that the Justice League actor moved out of their home and moved to a rental in Brentwood. It ignited the divorce buzz amid their marital woes.
While receiving support from Garner, Affleck's ex-wife reportedly offered him a room at her home.
"Ben's got a key to come and go as he pleases, and he's been spending a ton of time at her place, coming over for dinners and hanging with the kids," a source told Closer.
The insider added, "It's great for his state of mind and the kids love having him around. That's why Jen's open to the idea of having him move back in, she's got a lot of space so he wouldn't be in her way. She knows it would bring a lot of comfort to their kids."
Affleck was married to Garner before dating other women and rekindling his romance with Lopez. The pair shares three children.
According to the source, his family with the 13 Going On 30 star are the ones who have been helping him get through the tough times.
"Jen is already doing so much for him, she cooks him meals, she talks him off the ledge when he's having a rough day. She's there to cheer him on and pat him on the back. Plus they're doing an awful lot together with the kids now that school is finishing up," the source continued.
However, the insiders clarified that Affleck and Garner have nothing romantic between them.
The report came after a separate insider told the Daily Mail that the Alias actress no longer wants to help her ex-husband. Garner reportedly got to a point where she would like Affleck to figure everything out himself because things have become "too painful" for her since the memories of their divorce barged back.
According to the source, Garner felt like she was second to Lopez while she was married to Affleck.
"She was surprised at how public he became when they reunited because he was always a man who wanted to be out of the spotlight when they were married," the source went on.
Although she has been supportive of Affleck and the "Let's Get Loud" singer, she is reportedly "done playing marriage counselor."
