Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck might go through the same heartbreak they faced two decades ago.
A Reddit thread has collected comments from users after Affleck moved his things out of his marital mansion with Lopez amid the marital strife. The pair have yet to comment on the status of their marriage, but social media users have suggested a second Bennifer downfall might happen soon.
"We doing 2004 over again?" one asked on the thread, referring to Lopez and Affleck's first relationship.
Lopez and Affleck met on the set of their film, Gigli, in early 2002. Only a few months later, the pair announced their engagement and started dealing with a media frenzy. They scheduled their wedding at the time, but they decided to postpone the ceremony due to the excessive media attention surrounding their relationship.
They called it quits for good in January 2004, and they went on to marry other people.
Two decades later, Lopez and Affleck reconnected and started spending time again. Their reconciliation led to their second engagement in April 2022 and wedding in July 2022.
However, things have been rough since then.
One assumed, "This was her last ditch effort to get back in the limelight since her tour got canceled, and that silly documentary went nowhere."
"I had a feeling five minutes after they announced that they were getting back together that it was just a matter of time before they broke up. ," a second added, while a third asked, "Why does she have to marry every man she's dating?"
A fourth one wrote, "I think that ridiculous documentary about their love life was the last straw for him. Is she really that desperate to stay in the limelight that she would risk her marriage to show everyone her personal life in such detail. She needs to stay single for everyone's sake."

The divorce became more imminent after Affleck began spending more time with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. After his and Lopez's meeting at his office, the Justice League actor went to Garner's home in Los Angeles.
According to insiders, Lopez's attempts to save their failing marriage ended after Affleck moved out.
"The marriage is completely over, and Jennifer is heartbroken. She loves love and wanted this to work so badly," a source told Fox News Digital.
