Jennifer Garner has been supporting Ben Affleck amid his marital woes with Jennifer Lopez.
The ex-couple has been spotted several times over the past weeks since Affleck and Lopez's marital strife reportedly started. Now, a source spoke up about the 13 Going on 30 actress supporting her ex-husband amid the Bennifer's marriage drama.
"He's still the father of her children and she'll do whatever's in her power to help him through the difficult transition," a source told Star. "She'll always love Ben. That's a given."
Garner reportedly has unmatched love and support for Affleck, with whom she shares her three kids, especially because of her concern for his sobriety. Concerns over the Justice League actor's issues with alcohol resurfaced when he began dealing with the issues in his marriage to Lopez.
The insider continued, "Jen has a bit of a savior complex. She'll sacrifice her own needs to make sure Ben's OK. She helped him get sober before. She feels it's her duty to keep him that way."
The comment resonated with a Life & Style source who claimed Garner blamed Lopez for the pressure she has put Affleck under since it could trigger him and send him on a bender. Per the insider, she witnessed how her ex-husband has struggled to keep up with the "On the Floor" singer's lifestyle.

"Jen can't stand by and do nothing. That's not in her nature," the source shared. "She has dropped everything to ensure Ben doesn't spiral out of control again. At the end of the day, Ben is still the father of their children, and she will help him however she can."
Affleck struggled with alcoholism for decades and went to rehab thrice.
Despite that, Garner has reportedly been encouraging the Good Will Hunting actor to save his marriage as she "wants nothing more than for him to be happy."
Garner and Affleck tied the knot after his first relationship with Lopez failed and before the Bennifer's reunion. They announced their split in 2015 and filed for divorce in 2018.
On the other hand, Affleck and Lopez's marriage became the center of buzz after reports confirmed they started living separately. They also put their marital home on the market.
