Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck met again after the singer-songwriter's trip overseas, but it only sparked new speculation about their marriage.

Amid the divorce speculations, Lopez successfully returned home after embarking on a solo trip to Italy without her husband. The outing led the public to have more questions about the current state of their relationship, and the buzz intensified more even after their recent reunion.

RadarOnline.com and more news outlets confirmed that the "On the Floor" singer sparked fresh speculation about her marriage to Affleck after visiting his Beverly Hills office on Wednesday, June 26.

The website noted that the couple were not photographed together, and Lopez left the area before the Justice League actor did.

Their meeting at an office instead of their residence sparked new rumors about them having "serious talks" instead of casually hanging out as a married couple. Previously, celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi spotted the pair meeting at Lopez's business office in Los Angeles.

The insiders said Affleck never went to Lopez's office, but he reportedly did due to possible divorce talks.

The same sources said Lopez and Affleck hired a big-time attorney for the divorce. However, they still could not announce it as they are reportedly waiting for it to be finalized.

"At this point, neither Jennifer nor Ben are actually implementing a legal separation. Both parties are determined to remain steadfast despite current challenges in their marriage," alleged the source. "Ben tends to gravitate towards relationships with women who not only believe they can fix him, but who remain determined to stick it out no matter how bad his issues."

On the other hand, other sources told Us Weekly how the split became imminent with the sale of their Los Angeles property.

"They can't get on the same page [and] have been discussing divorce as an option," one of the sources told Us Weekly, while a second said, "It has been really hard for her and she is trying to figure out her next act."

A separate source noted they decided to take some space to determine whether the relationship was right for both of them or not.

Before their marriage, Lopez and Affleck dated in 2002 and planned to tie the knot at the time. However, they canceled the ceremony and called off their engagement in January 2004 due to tabloid attention.
