Lana Del Rey recently shared a mirror selfie, and many fans celebrated her for her weight loss. However, there were critics on social media who accused her of using a prescription drug called Ozempic because her figure changed too quickly and drastically.

Taking to her official Instagram account, the singer posted a selfie of herself wearing a blue shirt and denim shorts detailed with pearls. The musician appeared to be bare-faced and kept her hair casual.

Fans immediately took to the comment section to praise her for looking good. One wrote, "Mother, you have fed us so much today. TOUGH IS AMAZING."

"everytime I see Lana, all I can think is how young and beautiful she is," one wrote, while another added, "Blue suits you sooooo good, especially now with the blonde hair."

Despite the positive comments, some people speculated that she had been taking a weight loss drug: "Have she been getting skinner or what I hope she's not on ozempic I thought mother was different."

"the devil works hard but ozempic works harder," one posted on X, while another likened her to Christina Aguilera, who was also accused of using Ozempic: "Ozempic! Xtina's impact."

"ozempic is WORKING," one added.

As of this writing, Lana Del Rey has not responded to the comments surrounding her weight loss.

Throughout the years, the singer has released countless tracks and several albums in the alternative genre, including Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, Born to Die, Honeymoon, Norman F****** Rockwell, and many more.

However, 2024 will be a completely different year for the singer, as her 10th studio album, Lasso, will be country.

"We're going country," she announced at a Billboard event earlier this year. It was revealed that the record will be released in September 2024, but no exact date has been given.

However, the first single off the new project, "Tough," which was produced by Quavo, is now available to stream on major music platforms.

This wasn't the first time Lana Del Rey dabbled into the country music genre as she previously covered songs such as "Stand By Your Man" by Tammy Wynette in Nashville and "Unchained Melody" by Elvis Presley during a special appearance on Christmas at Graceland special.
