Taylor Swift was roped in between a Royal Family drama after meeting Prince William, which allegedly sparked a further rift between the future king and his brother, Prince Harry.

Radar Online sources have revealed that Swift has been on the British Royal Family's radar.

"It's not just Charlotte and George who love her. Everyone's raving about her and how talented and charming she is," the source revealed. "The word is she's going to be top of their list for any upcoming galas or events that involve celebrities."

The same sources have also disclosed that Harry and his wife, actress Meghan Markle, were "fuming" over Swift's meeting with the Prince of Wales and his children. The couple's frustration was allegedly caused by the fact that Meghan wasn't invited backstage when she attended Swift's The Eras Tour in California in 2023.

Before not inviting the Duchess of Sussex backstage, the outlet also reported that Swift had declined an offer to guest on her podcast, Archetypes, in the past.

"It's no secret Meghan went out of her way to try to build a relationship with Taylor and got nowhere, so it's hard for her and Harry not to see this as being a calculated way for William and the royals to undermine them further," the insider divulged. "In their view it's patently obvious the royals - and William in particular - love to go after anything they come close to having."

The outlet also reported that both Harry and Meghan were huge fans of Swift's music. However, Swift's recent meeting with William might have set things off.

"Meghan and Harry love Taylor's music. They've made it very clear they would love some sort of relationship with her," they furthered. "But now that William's made another big public connection with Taylor, any moves they make are bound to get labeled as cheap copycat attempts."

According to the sources, the backstage selfie with Swift, including her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, ticked the embattled couple off.

"It's the selfie that's set them off because it's just so out of the ordinary for the royals to publicize something like that.Even William's fans have branded it as shade towards the Sussexes," the source confirmed, noting that it wasn't William's idea to bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the concert they're frustrated at.  "Once again, they're feeling like the outsiders - and it hurts."
