Jennifer Lopez's decision to fly in the economy to Paris was reportedly a strategic attempt to change her image.

Lopez made headlines when the Daily Mail shared photos of the singer-actress enjoying a window seat on a KLM 2 hours and 20 minutes flight from Naples, Italy.

The move came after her lavish lifestyle - from designer wardrobe to high-end accessories and vehicles - was put under the spotlight.

Thus, she left the public shocked when she was pictured flying in the budget seat en route to Paris during a solo vacation. An insider said this was her response to the aforementioned accusations.

"Jennifer flying economy is her way of showing she's not blowing money on her lavish lifestyle," an insider told RadarOnline.com.Despite the attempt, some social media users branded it as another PR stunt from Lopez, who has been dealing with marital issues with Affleck.

Still, Lopez's fans defended her against the trolls.

"Never thought I'd say this but give her a break, everyone needs to have privacy even ones who have begged us for our attention for so long she obviously sucks at relationships," one wrote on Reddit.

Lopez took a solo vacation in Europe, and a source said the "Let's Get Loud" did so as she needed a change of environment.

Following the trip, Lopez was spotted spending time with Affleck again. She also started wearing her wedding band after ditching it several times even if there are reports that she has given up trying to fix their marriage.
