Sean "Diddy" Combs is once again under scrutiny for allegedly orchestrating a targeted attack against a critic who has been vocal about his actions.
In 1999, Natania Reuben bravely endured a gunshot wound to her face following a confrontation at a nightclub. This incident involved Diddy, who later resolved a resulting legal case by compensating her with approximately $1.8 million.
Despite being incarcerated, Belizean rapper Shyne, an artist signed to Diddy's Bad Boy Records, continued to claim that it was the label's owner who pulled the trigger in the incident that led to her being shot.
In a recently released interview snippet featured by The Art Of Dialogue podcast, Reuben revealed that Diddy put a bounty over her head following the shooting incident, leading her to decide to move to a new location.
Reuben was born and raised in Brooklyn and she didn't plan on leaving at all.
"I had no intentions of leaving, and probably had this [not] happened, I probably would have never left, but when the District Attorney's office gets information from one of their confidential informant sources saying that there's a bag on my head."
She recalled gazing out from her residence in Canarsie, Brooklyn, and immediately contacting the District Attorney's office and other officials. The scene unfolded before her was reportedly alarming, with four sleek, tinted SUVs strategically positioned around her street.
Reuben added that one vehicle was stationed at each corner, creating an unsettling atmosphere outside her doorstep.

She went on to say, "What should I do? Sit there and wait for them to come get me or submit to the will of people who have my best interest and want to move me and my family to preserve my safety?"
"I had businesses. Why would I pick up and just leave everything I knew but for the fact that my life depended on it?"
Reuben also emphasized that expressing criticism towards Diddy should not be misconstrued as endorsing Shyne's innocence.
"I said on my TikTok, Shyne did not shoot me because he didn't, but Shyne is a con artist."
"Everybody's like, 'Oh, we knew Shyne was innocent.' No, you don't know a damn thing because he's far from innocent."
Shyne, who transitioned into politics, was handed a ten-year prison term in 2001 and was acquitted in 2009.
In a recent public statement, Shyne, whose real name is Moses Michael Levi Barrow, responded to the claims regarding Diddy being implicated in the tragic shooting incident involving Reuben.
He said, "I'm just saying that I maintained my innocence all this time. I said that I was defending myself. I didn't get into who did what, But the victim is telling you who did what."
