Academy Award-winning singer-songwriters Billie Eilish and FINNEAS revealed that they had a big argument while making the former's newest album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft."
In an episode of Hot Ones Versus, the two battle it out with personal questions, choosing whether to eat a spicy chicken wing or answer the invasive questions.
At one point, FINNEAS was asked what their "biggest argument" was when they were creating the album.
"I put my feet up on the desk a lot and Billie is right there," FINNEAS laughingly confessed.
Eilish, who seemed to be triggered by her brother's behavior, demonstrated how FINNEAS annoyed her while recording.
"Finneas is always, well, not always, a lot of the time, he is a lot of times barefoot or a lot of the times in very filthy shoes. He'll put them...this is the situation... I'm like right next to him. And my face is right there," Eilish said. "And we filmed so much of the making of the album that almost all of the footage is just his feet. The camera is right there and it's just his feet!"
While that hilarious story seemed to be something the brother-and-sister duo had agreed upon, FINNEAS added that on a serious note, it might be the transition period where they became honest with each other that was the "biggest argument" they had.
"I think the longest, biggest argument was during a period of transition in maybe both of our lives where we were both just trying to be honest. To give you credit, I was very much like high and mighty about like, 'You're not being honest enough or authentic enough,'" FINNEAS confessed. "And you were coming up with such beautiful melodies and cool cadences. Then, by the time we had cool lyrics, everything else was done. So I learned a lot from being too ego-centric."
Eilish and FINNEAS' partnership has become a certified success ever since the former shot to fame in 2019. In 2023, their song "What Was I Made For?" for Barbie won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, making them the youngest double Oscar winners.
Billie was 21, and FINNEAS was 25 when they won the Oscar for "No Time To Die" in 2022, and they were 22 and 26, respectively, after winning with "What Was I Made For?"
