'Circles' singer Post Malone has debuted a deeply personal song titled 'Yours' about his 2-year-old daughter during an intimate performance in Nashville on Tuesday, July 16.
'Yours' is a track from his new album 'F-1 Trillion,' which will drop on Friday, Aug. 16.
The singer performed two unreleased songs from the album, a collaboration with Hardy titled 'Would You Hide My Gun' and the touching song 'Yours.'
Malone explained that his song 'Yours' was about his 2-year-old daughter getting married someday before he started to sing.
In his introduction, "I wrote this song about my daughter getting married," he said. "I got a two-year-old, and we got a long time to go."
As his song starts with a steel-guitar prelude, Malone sings, "It's gonna break my heart when she gives hers to you... She might be your better half, but she's my everything/ We'll both love her forever/ but I loved her long before/One day I know I'll give her away/ Buddy, that don't mean she's yours."
"We both love her forever, but I loved her long before / And one day I know I'll give her away / Buddy, that doesn't mean she's yours," the lyrics continue.
Fans erupted in cheers after he dropped a more profound and slower-cut lyrics.
According to People, the Nashville performance also featured other performers, including Sierra Ferrell, HARDY, Blake Shelton, and Joe Nichols, who joined Malone on stage to sing various new and old songs.
Malone hinted about a sneak peek of the song 'Yours' on Father's Day, and the People magazine later published the full version. He told People that the song might end up on playlists for weddings as many fans liked his music. Despite being a public figure, Malone did not reveal his daughter's name or identity.
