Miley Cyrus' Father Billy Ray's Brutal 'Skank' Rant Widens Rift: 'He's Dead to Her'

Miley Cyrus has reportedly decided to cut ties with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, whom she now views as nonexistent in her life.

This came after the "Achy Breaky Heart" crooner called his daughter a "devil" and a "skank" in a shocking leaked audio obtained by the Daily Mail and Page Six.

In the recorded outburst, Billy Ray could be heard saying, "Everyone knows that devil's a skank," referring to Miley. He made the comment during a heated argument with his much younger wife, Firerose, whom he married soon after parting ways with Miley's mother, Tish.

Insiders revealed that the former "Hannah Montana" star's admiration for her famous father has dissipated, leading to a lack of communication between them ever since her mother filed for divorce in 2022.

According to one unnamed source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Miley reportedly believes that a father should not refer to his daughter as a derogatory term.

"There is no excuse, ever, for a father to call his daughter a skank. Any inkling of respect that Miley had for her father is gone. He is dead to her," the insider said.

Despite Billy Ray's efforts to clarify his statements, a furious Miley remains unconvinced.

"Miley is over caring about what Billy Ray has to say about her, her mom or her siblings," a different source told the outlet. "Miley is as independent of a woman as possible, and she refuses to let her dad, or any man, break her heart."

Page Six also revealed disturbing text messages allegedly showing Billy Ray's criticisms of Miley's mother, whom he called a "liar," "w***e," and "cheat" in conversations with his manager. Music Times could not independently verify the authenticity of the messages.

"Complete Skank. Scum of the earth. A fraud. Makes Deanna Lohan look like Mother Theresa [sic]," the "Butterfly Fly Away" singer allegedly wrote of his ex-wife.

Billy Ray was also captured in the leaked audio criticizing Tish for having children with two different men before their relationship, calling her derogatory names and questioning her past choices.

Not long after the recording of him launching a heated verbal outburst at his estranged wife, Firerose, surfaced, the country singer opted to address his involvement in the incident on his Instagram account.

He openly acknowledged the emotional outburst in a social media update, without offering any apologies for his actions.

"Hell yeah I was at my wit's end," he revealed in the post, accompanying his words with a striking image of a burning rose.

Billy Ray filed for divorce against Firerose in May after only seven months of marriage.
