Lady Gaga Previews New Album Amid Michael Polansky Engagement, Stunning Olympics Performance

Lady Gaga has shared snippets from her upcoming seventh studio album following her stunning 2024 Paris Olympics performance and confirmation of her engagement with longtime boyfriend Michael Polansky.

The singer is currently in France for the 2024 Olympics, where she performed the cabaret classic "Mon Truc en Plumes" during Friday's opening ceremony.

On Sunday, Gaga thanked the fans who came to see her at her Paris hotel by writing on Instagram that she would be previewing her new album, titled "LG7."

"I'm so deeply touched by my French fans this week outside the hotel. I'm gonna come out and say goodbye tonight with a few seconds of #LG7," she wrote.

Shortly after, she appeared outside and blasted a metallic electronic beat from her laptop, as seen in a video shared on YouTube.

The star popped out of her limousine's sunroof and pumped her fist in the air during the first 20 seconds of the clip.

After playing the snippet, she giggled and closed the laptop before heading back into the car.

Fans stayed and chanted lyrics from her songs. After a minute, Gaga reappeared and said, "I'm sorry, I'm gonna do one more."

The artist then played a second snippet reminscent of her "Artpop" album's gothic pop feel. The star also appeared to mouth the lyrics, "I've become what was holding me."

Gaga posed for pictures and returned to her hotel, saying, "And for the rest, you have to wait!"

The upcoming album will be her first solo one since 2020's "Chromatica," which produced the hits "Stupid Love" and "Rain On Me."

Back in May, Gaga revealed her inspiration for the upcoming seventh album.

"Something I'm definitely exploring right now is sort of the art of intensity," she explained to "Access Hollywood's" Scott Evans. "I think that the art of intensity actually began during this ['Chromatica Ball'] tour. But I'm not done with it yet."

Meanwhile, Gaga also confirmed Sunday that she's engaged to Polansky during a chat with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

In a TikTok video, the "Born This Way" singer could be heard referring to Polansky as "my fiancé" while the three watched a swimming competition.
