Billy Ray Cyrus and his now ex-wife Firerose have finally settled their divorce.
Cyrus' lawyers announced the news via a statement shared on the singer's Instagram page Monday.
As part of their divorce settlement, Firerose will get no money from her ex. However, Cyrus will give her his claims to credits and royalties for any music the ex-couple wrote and published together, Page Six reported.
The resolution comes after seven months of marriage and nearly three months after Cyrus, 62, filed for divorce from the 35-year-old Australian musician -- born Johanna Hodges -- over inappropriate marital behavior and irreconcilable differences. He also requested an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
"This past Friday the parties reached a settlement agreement at mediation to dissolve their 7-month marriage, and the Court declared the parties divorced this morning," lawyers Rose Palermo and Jason Talley of Cheatham Palermo & Garrett wrote in their statement Monday. "Mr. Cyrus is relieved to put this nightmare behind him."
They added that "a couple of weeks ago, prior to mediation, Ms. Hodges legally changed her last name from 'Hodges' to 'Cyrus,'" which Cyrus believes "validates his assertion that his ex-wife's sole impetus for marrying him was to obtain his last name."
In his own statement, the "Achy Breaky Heart" singer said that he was "very relieved" by the result of the proceedings.
An anonymous source close to Firerose told People that she filed her last name change shortly after she and Cyrus tied the knot in October 2023.
Furthermore, the insider also said that Firerose walked away "without fighting for money" because she no longer wanted to have anything to do with Cyrus and their "volatile relationship."

After he filed for divorce in June, Cyrus accused Firerose of being a "fraud" who was using his last name to benefit her music career. He also claimed that Firerose had strained relationships with his daughters.
His accusations were denied by Firerose, whose representative claimed the country music icon used an "abusive tactic to distract away from the serious, true allegations brought against him."
Firerose made several allegations against Cyrus, claiming in court documents obtained by People that he subjected her to "extreme verbal, emotional, and psychological abuse" during their marriage.
Cyrus' lawyers shut down Firerose's claims in a statement to E! News, calling them "confusing and suspicious."
