Things just got a little more interesting in this Keyshia Cole and Birdman ordeal. The identity of the woman attacked by Cole has been revealed and apparently, she works for Cash Money Records.
According to TMZ, the woman Cole hauled off on isn't Birdman's side piece, she's an employee of his label. The entertainment news outlet says the alleged victim is Sabrina Mercadel and she has worked for Cash Money for more than a decade.
Mercadel and Birdman have reportedly known each other since they were young.
Sources for the site say Mercadel and the hip-hop mogul weren't alone in his condo at the time of the attack. In fact, four others were present when Cole came storming in.
Mercadel was reportedly walking out of the bathroom when Cole spotted her in the apartment and went on the attack, yelling, "What are you doing with my man!?"
Following the attack, she was taken to the ER and given pain meds. Cole was arrested and later released on $46,000 bail.
Neither Birdman nor Cole have directly addressed the bizarre situation but the "Point of No Return" singer has been throwing subliminal shade via Instagram.
Last night, she posted a selfie with a caption that read, "Man love is a muthaF--ka."
She followed up with another post this morning. It reads, "And finally you realize...You can't force "it" to be something. You can't force consistency, loyalty or even honesty...You can't force them to keep their word, or to communicate, or to realize something special is in front of them..."
Stay tuned for more updates.
