    Love & Hip Hop New York's Mendeecees Harris has been grabbing headlines recently after striking a plea deal in a years-old drug trafficking case. Harris' legal troubles first became newsworthy back in 2013 when he was arrested and thrown in jail in a facility in upstate New York, where he sat until love, Yandy Smith, finally managed to bail him out a year later. The couple has downplayed his legal issues and instead focused on expanding their family while VH1's cameras rolled so Harris striking a deal that carries a lengthy prison term seemed to come out of nowhere.
