A Florida man who once attempted to get into a Taylor Swift concert by posing as a security guard faces several new charges after allegedly fighting with a police officer.

Ivan Mariotti, 44, faces a variety of charges including battery on an officer, depriving an officer of a means of protection, evidence tampering, and resisting arrest, Local 10 reported. In total, Mariotti is facing six felony charges related to the incident on Saturday.

In October 2024, Mariotti was charged with interfering with a sporting or entertainment event when he allegedly impersonated a security guard to try and gain entry to a Taylor Swift concert at Hard Rock Stadium, the station reported.

Mariottti's most recent troubles stem from a Saturday traffic stop. Mariotti was riding a scooter when he was stopped. As the officer wrote him citations, Mariotti took off on the scooter, Local 10 reported. The officer followed Mariotti to the condominium building where he lived and an altercation occurred.

"As Deputy Battle continued his efforts to take the defendant (Mariotti) into custody, the defendant reached for the deputy's firearm. In response, Deputy Battle was able to push the defendant's hands away and immediately unholstered his firearm, pointing it at the defendant at gunpoint," a police report states, according to Local 10. "Despite the warning, the defendant again grabbed Deputy Battle's firearm. Deputy Battle quickly holstered his firearm and continued trying to restrain the defendant."
