The remaining members of Danity Kane — Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex — recently announced that the group would be releasing a new album, DK3, soon, and following that announcement, Danity Kane offered new music from the album, called "Rhythm of Love."
On the upbeat dance track, O'Day, Bex and ex-member Dawn Richard sing about getting lost in the rhythm of love.
Judging from the comments on the group's SoundCloud stream of the track, fans like the song, which makes their disbandment even harder to accept. The group disbanded in August after Richard and O'Day got into a physical altercation.
As previously reported, DK3 is the third studio album put out by Danity Kane, and the 10-track release is set to drop Oct. 28.
O'Day said in a video on Instagram, "What's up DK fans? I just want to let you know that I love you and miss you so much, and because you guys never gave up on us, Shannon and I haven't given up on you."
As noted by Music Times, so far there has been absolutely no comment from Richard regarding the release of DK3, and she was not included in the original announcement. It leaves one to wonder if she even knew the album would be put out.
It should be interesting to see how this pans out, but in the meantime, take a listen to "Rhythm of Love" below:
