Is Kate Middleton's Severe Morning Sickness Being Caused By A Set Of Twins?

Kate Middleton's current bout with morning sickness has made major headlines because it has kept the duchess from several royal engagements. Normally the palace would never confirm a pregnancy before the 12-week mark but Middleton's sickness has been so disruptive that they were better off letting the good news out rather than having the media speculating and rumor-mongering about her health. According to royal insiders it seems that Middleton's sickness may be a bit worse than anticipated due to the fact that she's carrying twins.

While there had been speculation for most of this year on whether or not Middleton was pregnant and a rumor about her carrying twins has circulated in the past, this time around it seems to be a valid possibility. She suffered from severe morning sickness in the early stages of her pregnancy with Prince George nearly two years ago and while she required hospitalization, she also rebounded very quickly. That is clearly not the case this time around, leading many in the loop to believe that it might really be two babies that are draining Middleton's energy.

Several sources are reporting that a recent ultrasound has confirmed that Middleton and Prince William are expecting twin girls. In the past they have mentioned hoping to have three children within about 5 years so that they are close in age and can grow up together and hopefully then remain close into adulthood. Prince William's bond with his younger brother, Prince Harry is rock solid as is Middleton's relationship with her younger brother and sister. If she is carrying twins then once they are born the young royal family would be complete.

Do you think that this time around the rumors are true? Will the palace be confirming that a set of twins are on the way for Middleton and Prince William next spring? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
