Apparently rapper Tyga is at odds with YMCMB and he recently took it upon himself to air out their differences via Twitter. In a series of tweets, Tyga revealed his plan to leak his forthcoming album The Golden Album: 18th Dynasty and ultimately leave the label.
Fans have been anticipating new music from the Los Angeles-based rhymer and it appears he's just as anxious to release his latest project but it doesn't seem as though everyone is on board, according to Tyga.
"Gold album been done," he tweeted. "My label holding me hostage so I can't release nothing. Might just leak it for my fans then let them make $ off it."
The album was slated to be released on November 18. He went on to reveal that he plans to cut ties with YMCMB soon. When one fan asked Tyga if he was still with Young Money, he responded, "not for long." Since being signed to the label, Tyga has released two albums including 2012′s Careless World: Rise of the Last King and 2013′s Hotel California.
According to his tweets, the "Rack City" rapper is strictly focusing on building his label Last Kings. Mack Maine, who is also signed to Young Money and serves as the label's president, responded to Tyga's tweets and also threw a little shade on the sly.
"Don't forget about puttin limes in coconuts!!! What you "rep" didn't make you or build you!!," he tweeted.
As noted by Rap-Up, this isn't the first time Tyga has spoke out on differences with his label.
"I never got a check from Young Money or Cash Money," he said during an interview with The Breakfast Club. "I've always treated my career as independent and everything that I've got is because of myself, my own endorsements."
Back in July, Busta Rhymes spoke on his decision to leave Cash Money and a month later Mystikal said his deal with the label is "not gonna work."
