Drake's OVO affiliate Chubbs threw major shade at Tyga on Instagram following his "fake" comments. Chubbs' diss came so abruptly we overlooked the fact that Young Money president Mack Maine also responded to his artist's bold statements.
Mack didn't mention Tyga by name but the tweet was sent out around the same time the article with Vibe made its way to the Internet.
"Either Your OG's didn't raise ya right or they disappointed in ya behavior!!!," he tweeted.
All of the current YMCMB drama with Tyga stems from claims that the label is holding him hostage. Earlier this month, he tweeted that his forthcoming album has been completed and proposed the idea of leaking the record himself instead of waiting for an official release. According to his tweets, the "Rack City" rapper is strictly focusing on building his label Last Kings and plans to leave YMCMB soon. Mack chimed in tweeting, "Don't forget about puttin limes in coconuts!!! What you "rep" didn't make you or build you!!"
During his interview with Vibe, Tyga discussed his relationship with Young Money and his personal feelings towards Drake.
"I tend to distance myself from them," he said. "Yeah, I'm tryna' go independent. I don't really get along with Drake. I don't really get along with Nicki.
"I don't like Drake as a person," Tyga added. "He's just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I'm saying? I think his music is good, but we're all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda' like we were forcing relationships together ... I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship 'cause Wayne put us together. At the end of the day the reason why I signed to Young Money is because of Wayne. Not because of Drake, not because of Nicki. It was because of Wayne and my relationship with him. I try to be cool with everybody, but sometimes, everybody just has different personalities, motives, and different characters. When you realize that, you realize that's not a place where you want to continue to grow."
