Jon Gosselin is at it again. He's looking for another grand-scale way to get paid. Last month, we learned that Kate Gosselin's ex had been dumped by his girlfriend, lost his job and then was evicted from a house that accommodated his 8 kids for visitation. Gosselin's pattern over the years has been one of all or nothing. Either he is on top of the world or else his life is a mess. He and Kate have battled for years since their split with Jon always being accused of looking for ways to drag her name through the mud in the press. Now it seems, Jon wants to play nice and maybe even repair things between them.
Of course, there's a catch. In a recent interview, Jon let it drop that he would consider doing a reality show with Kate - Couples Therapy. Jon has already appeared on the series once with a previous girlfriend and apparently he thinks that Dr. Jenn Berman could do wonders for his relationship with Kate.
"I would consider appearing on 'Couples Therapy' with Kate. We're divorced, but why can't we co-parent? I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering," says Jon. While it's good to see him realistically evaluating things and understanding that the kids are still caught between their parents, why does any healing need to occur while VH1's cameras are rolling?
Obviously this would likely make for great ratings but Kate can't stand Jon and sources say that while she's always looking for a new reality gig, something with her ex is simply out of the question. Isn't it a bit ironic that a couple who, at least in part, credits reality television with their demise, would even contemplate using the same vehicle to try and repair things?
