Marilyn Manson Shares Details for Upcoming 'The Pale Emperor,' New Album Out in January [TRACKLIST]

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson announced that his upcoming album will be titled The Pale Emperor and will hit retailers Jan. 20. The album will be the "Coma White" singer's first collection of new material since 2012's Born Villain.

Manson and Co. shared the album's insanely dark lead single, "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge," which will be one of 10 tracks on the record — see below — last month. According to Rolling Stone, the iTunes version of the album will come with three additional tracks: "Day 3," "Fated, Faithful, Fatal" and "Fall of the House of Death." Fans can preorder the standard edition on Manson's website or the deluxe edition on iTunes now.

Since the band's 2012 release, Manson has been keeping busy with bit parts on shows like East Bound & Down and Californication. His only new music was a creepy cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" that featured actor Johnny Depp on guitar. The Pirates of the Caribbean lead also recently showed up at a Manson gig, joining the band and Ninja from Die Antwood for a frantic Halloween version of 1996's "The Beautiful People."

Born Villain received mixed reviews, but dominated multiple Billboard charts. It reached No. 10 on the 200 albums list and took the No. 1 spot on the top Independent and Hard Rock albums charts.

Most recently, Manson has been playing a white supremacist on FX's Sons of Anarchy.

"Sons has been such a big part of my life, as well as my father's," Manson said in May. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will probably be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema."
