As deadmau5 once said, "Sometimes things get complicated." Yesterday, Tyga was pulled over in Los Angeles at approximately 4:30 PM trying to meet up with Chris Brown and Trey Songz at the House Of Blues LA to announce their collaborative "Between The Sheets" tour. Due to the traffic stop, he missed his set time during the event.
According to E! News, he was pulled over for unsafe lane changes and unsafe speed while driving a white Bentley. He was cited and released by the school police. It turns out that Tyga had been shooting a music video earlier that day and was in a rush to get to House Of Blues LA. His bodyguard was cited for a gun violation, a sour note to the whole story. Even though he missed his performance, apparently Tyga laughed about the incident with reporters later and discussed the tour according to Radio.com.
Don't bunch this into the category of other high profile run-ins with the law that we have seen from other rappers (especially those that may have involved physical altercations or guns). Tyga may just want to keep his foot off the gas petal when he is driving around LA.
Even though fans may have missed him this time around, there will be plenty more opportunities on this tour to see Tyga as he tours across across America with Chris Brown and Trey Songz. Check out the full tour dates coming this winter that will take them across North America from New York to New Orleans - to Washington, DC and Los Angeles. Let's just hope somebody else is driving this time!
The event was live streamed so watch the below video of Chris Brown & Trey Songz announce the tour noticably sans Tyga. He will be there when it matters -- for the real shows this winter.
