Lollapalooza managed to sell out all three of its South American festivities this year so the festival will once again be headed to the continent to stage shows in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. The lineups for each of those gigs, relatively similar, were announced on Monday morning (via Billboard).
Chile will be the first of the three to experience Lollapalooza 2014. The lineup will include Jack White, the Kings of Leon, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters, Smashing Pumpkins, Foster The People, Kasabian, St. Vincent, The Kooks, Interpol, Bastille, NOFX and Major Lazer. The two-day event will take place March 14 and 15.
The event will move to Buenes Aires the next weekend, with Pharrell Williams replacing Kings of Leon among the headliners. Skrillex, Alt-J and Nicky Romero will also join the fray as Foster The People, The Kooks and NOFX drop out.
Finally the event will head to Sao Paolo for the fourth edition of Lollapalooza Brazil, featuring the same group of headliners and major acts as Argentina, plus the return of Foster The People and the addition of Marina and The Diamonds.
Chicago, the original rendition of the current Lollapalooza, also had a sell-out year, attracting more than 300,000 music fans to Grant Park. Coupled with the continued success in South America and the brand announced earlier this month that it would be heading to Berlin for its first European event during September of 2015.
