S Club 7 Announces UK Tour for 2015; Will Pop Group Visit United States after Ten Year Absence?

Us music fans in the United States are always on the lookout for a reunion among boy/girl groups, the bands that dominated the charts at the turn of the century. Backstreet Boys have played an extensive number of dates, the Spice Girls got together for at least the London Olympics in 2012, and we're still waiting for the *N'SYNC reformation that will never happen. There's some good news from abroad however, especially for fans of children's reality television around the same time: S Club 7 has announced an arena tour in Europe, the group's first tour dates as a whole in more than a decade (from Music-News.com).

S Club broke up during 2003, citing "mutual disagreements" and angering some fans, considering that the group had denied a breakup was coming while it was promoting the feature film Seeing Double. Members had temporarily come together over the years to perform under titles such as S Club 3 but this will be the first tour featuring all of the original members.

The London group had gotten the rumor mill churning when it appeared Friday on BBC's annual Children in Need concert, its first performance as a seven-piece since 2003. Not long after S Club announced it would be playing an 11-date tour through the UK. Fans elsewhere in the world can only hope that it won't be the end of the line for the group.
