It has been almost a year since Beyoncé released her surprise self-titled audio-visual album. The effort has finally made its way to Spotify, and music videos have now been uploaded to VEVO — the latest being the track "Haunted," which soundtracks the trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey. Todd Tourso served as the creative director for the visual, which was directed by Swedish film and music director Jonas Åkerlend.
In case you didn't see it when it premiered on iTunes, the video opens with a old-timey film countdown and then shows Bey styled in prohibition-era clothing and hair, arriving in a vintage car with two luggage bags embellished with a gothic letter "B." She lights up a cigarette, puts it out on the ground, and heads up the stairs to give viewers a tour of the ominous mansion. She moves from room to room with the song playing in the background. She meets a variety of odd characters in each room, doing naughty and freaky things. At one point, Beyoncé performs a sexy choreographed dance on a couch with several scantily clad female dancers. The clip looks like it could be taken right out of American Horror Story.
The 33-year-old also recently released the music video for her new track "7/11." That video shows Bey in a completely different environment, having fun with her dancers in a Beverly Hills hotel suite.
The Beyoncé (Platinum Edition) includes six bonus tracks in addition to the original album. Two new songs, "7/11" and the song inspired by her parents' divorce "Ring Off" accompany new remixes of "***Flawless" (feat. Nicki Minaj), "Drunk in Love" (feat. Jay Z and Kanye West), "Blow" (feat. Pharrell Williams) and "Standing on the Sun," all of which are available for streaming now on Spotify.
