KeY Wane is gearing up to release his From Now On project and to get the people talking, he dropped his "Same N---a" collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign.
The track features a soulful sample of DJ Rogers' "Say You Love Me," which Big Sean sampled on the presumed Naya Rivera diss track "IDFWU" and KeY intertwines a piano melody as Ty promises to stay true to his roots.
"Ain't nothing new under the sun/I'm still the same g/N---a don't get it f--ked up/You could still get f--ked up/Before I had dough I still looked like this/And before I had dough I'd still take your b---h," he harmonizes.
No word on when to expect From Now On to make its way onto the Internet. However, Ty Dolla $ign is prepping his new album Free TC. Back in October, Ty revealed to XXL that his latest project is set to feature Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj, among many others.
"Just good music, some Taylor Gang, Pushaz Ink s--t," Ty said when asked what fans can expect from Free TC. "I got a song with Kendrick on there. My little brother Big TC, Wale; of course I'm going to get Wiz Khalifa, YG and everybody else. I got to be my brother's keeper. One of the songs off the album, which is going to be my first single called 'Stand,' it's pretty hard. It's just getting people ready for it. If you want to hear some amazing s--t, just come out to the In Too Deep Tour leading up to the album. Come out to the show and see for yourself. I'll hold on giving away the secrets.
The "Paranoid" singer said the album should be available in January or February. In the meantime, take a listen to KeY Wane and Ty Dolla $ign's collaboration after the jump and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
